Issue #1-- who has the right to solicit money for e911?
Judging by the article, the EMS folks, who want a dedicated building and some degree of separation from the sheriff's department, did a fundraising end-run around Sheriff Walt Femling.
Issue #1 -- where is the consolidated dispatch facility to be housed? The EMS association wants at the old Wood River High School; Sheriff Walt Femling wants to spend the money on equipment, not on the building.
Old Wood River High School now houses offices for the Blaine County Recreation District, College of Southern Idaho
New High School:

Issue #2 -- There are six elected governing bodies in the Wood River Valley-- the County commissioners, and the mayors of Sun Valley, Ketchum, Hailey, Bellevue, and Carey. How many seats would each of the six leaders control?
