National List of Schools (Private/Charter) focused on educating k-12 students with learning differences, ADHD, and / or dyslexia.

There's no official national director of private and/or charter schools that focus on educating  k-12 students with learning differences, ADHD, and / or dyslexia.

I've compiled a list from various sources. 

The list excludes those schools that:

• focusing only on students with autism or behavior disorders,
• those with developmental delays and/or intellectual impairments.

Don't misunderstand me.  I believe that having specialized schools is very important.  However, I wanted a list that focused on language-based learning issues (dyslexia) and those with attentional issues.

This list is not an endorsement of any one school or educational approach.  I have no way of evaluating the quality of the schools.

Please leave a comment, or e-mail me, if I have overlooked a school meeting the criteria.

I'm a data junkie. I'm itching to map the distribution of these kind of schools. Relative to the distribution of independent schools for non-standard kids/programs for non-standard kids--I suspect there's an algorithm that has to do with population density, disposable income, parent education levels, prior experience with independent schools, the quality of the public schools' services for non-standard kids, and some other X factor.

What options exist for state testing accommodations for students with moderate / basic dyslexia? (IN CALIFORNIA)

Is the best option to exempt or opt the student out of the testing?
Will opting out of testing, limit the student in the longterm; will it affect possibilities for college?

I feel the state testing will not be an accurate measure of my child's intellectual and academic ability, since he is dyslexic. It seems it will be an unnecessary torture? Please let me know of my options. Thank you!
