Jacques Littlefield died early in the morning January 7, 2008. That day, the restoration crew at the Military Vehicle Technology Foundation decided they'd put the turret on the Panther and drive it out to honor him. Here's the video
Here's the first start of the Panther's engine.
In this video, Jacques, Dave Marian, Bill Nahmens, and Jason enjoy the engine's first run.
I'm grateful to Dave Marian for a lot of things, but particularly for these videos and his Jacques Littlefield photo gallery. (Right now my personal favorites are image #61, Jumper Girl & her dad, and #88, Jacques rigging a hoist.)
I'm grateful to Bill Nahmens for a lot of things, but particularly his support of Jacques and the kids.
