I spent yesterday hanging out with Ms Teacher. We've been reading each other's blogs and commenting, but never met in person.
Yesterday was like a long visit with an old friend. I've never had a bad experience meeting blogfriends in person. Try it out!
We talked about books and teaching and family and educational policy and educational reality and some of her curriculum for the next semester and blogging stuff. If you don't read her blog, you should.
The only shocking part of the visit was spending 3 hours in Borders without buying a single book.
The Borders in Emeryville is huge, and is housed in the Emeryville Public Market, which is the most astonishing food court in the western world.
