Martin Bentley - AKA Chunkylimey

I like most of the folks on this list but one stands out as problematic for me personally. Jack Of Kent. Whilst he is clearly an intelligent informed individual he's become a classic example of arrogance being confused with confidence. Myself and others have been on the receiving and of his bitter sneering ego for daring to question his opinions. Whereas someone like Ben Goldacre (a usually confident person) is not above the odd mistake he's decent enough to make apologies and admit error. Someone should make Jack Of Kent sit down and watch Phil plaits excellent talk on "don't be a dick".

I don't dislike Jack Of Kent for how he treated me personally because I can be rude like the best of us; what I dislike is that he's done it to many others and he's clearly abusing his position to bully and diminish others. He's exactly the kind of jerk that gives Skeptics, rational people, a bad name.

He may improve but I've given up on him as an example of the kind of person I would hate to be grouped with. Many of the names on this list deserve much better company than him.

Anonymoosh

Martin, honestly, the only position Jack has, is the position you grant him, let it go.
Besides alphabetically Chunkylimey beats a jackofkent, and that's pretty much the only criteria here.

*grin*

That's a fair comment. I just don't like tolerating someone bullying someone else. However I guess it's up to them how they cope with his poor behaviour?

Not for me to be everyone's defender.

Thank goodness.
