Thanks for the above comments. I took zoloft for a while, several years back. It was then that I, also, realized the difference between 'normal me' and 'impaired me'. Mt mom is an antidepressant junkie and can't understand why I went on the zoloft and then chose to go off again. Others don't understand why I ever felt I needed to go on it in the first place. It was all about getting perspective and some distance.


Although it sounds strange, I've heard similar things said about ADD drugs. That some people can go on them and then off them again, once they start to figure out how their brain can work differently.
