Prediction: 2005 will see a new push from Christian activists to destroy the public school system.
Those who support the Exodus Mandate believe that good, bible-believing Christians should work to destroy the system of American public education, and should never send their children to public schools.
I introduced Bruce Shortt and T. C. Pinkney to you in June. Shortt's the fellow who "considers sending children to government schools as "the grossest kind of sin." He and a friend, T. C. Pinkney, wrote a resolution for the 2004 Southern Baptist Convention, meeting that called for good Baptists to withdraw from public schools. Happily, it was voted down, but the Exodus Mandate folks are gearing up again.
This is a thread of dominion theology,
"Its most common form, Dominionism, represents one of the most extreme forms of Fundamentalist Christianity thought. Its followers, called Dominionists, are attempting to peacefully convert the laws of United States so that they match those of the Hebrew Scriptures. They intend to achieve this by using the freedom of religion in the US to train a generation of children in private Christian religious schools. Later, their graduates will be charged with the responsibility of creating a new Bible-based political, religious and social order. One of the first tasks of this order will be to eliminate religious choice and freedom..
To: Sponsors of websites linked to Exodus Mandate (http://exodusmandate.org/) Re: Support for the Exodus Mandate objectivesPlease excuse this "blunderbuss" approach to disseminating information in an attempt to combine efforts to meet a mutual objective. I infer that those whose e-mail addresses I have included in this distribution support the objectives of the Exodus Mandate, which concurs with Dr. Laura Schlessinger in her World Net Daily article, "Time for public schools to throw in the towel?" (http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=30692) and Dr. James Dobson (http://www.family.org/), in his advocacy of the "Get the Kids Out" movement (http://honested.com/pdf/gtko.pdf), which includes reference to the Exodus Mandate, founded by Gail & Ray Moore.
Ray Moore decries the lethargy which allows such as we warn against to occur and continue. The flyer to which I refer below may be instrumental in shocking the lethargic. Heretofore our message has been effective only in reinforcing those who believe as we do. I am attempting to encourage an increasingly pro active approach and recommending doing what we can to eliminate anti-freedom conditioning and nefarious influence of compulsory education.
The flyer I have prepared for distribution and advocate its use on billboards, etc. is http://webpages.charter.net/mltew2/nonsens2.htm for you to do with what you will. I am attempting to make a satisfactory photo of it which can be inserted into e-mail messages.
The purposes of compulsory education are "something else" besides education and there are sound reasons to defeat it included in the following web pages:

I also believe that the Alliance Defense Fund is part of the "destroy public schools, create a Christian Theocratic Nation"....well, movement is probably too organized.
