My son is Dyslexic, and my husband is being transfered to Decatur, al. Where is the best school for him? We live in Ms. and we have the same issues in our school system. I was a court reporter, and I have quit my job to stay home and homeschool. Is that my only option? Do you know anything about Greengate school? thanks

Liz

Thanks for commenting! Boy, moves for kids with LDs can be problematic. I suggest that you go to the SchwabLearning parents' board and post your question.

Here's the link.

You could also contact the Alabama Scottish Rite Learning Centers for more help. They have wonderful programs.

There's a Yahoo group for the International Dyslexia Association in Alabama -- you could join and ask the members

The Alabama branch of the International Dyslexia Association (AL-IDA)
ALIDA is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping individuals with dyslexia, their families and the communities that support them. This is a great dyslexia resource for Alabama and includes information about local IDA meetings, training and related seminars.

I don't have any personal experience with the Greengate school. The website looks promising.
