I would devote any part of myself to seeing CEDU survive.
An alumnus writes:
I am writing this letter to speak out about the fact that CEDU has closed after nearly 4 decades. I was a student at CEDU and had an opportunity to meet Mel Wasserman while attending. I believe that he never intended for his school to end up in this manner.
I only hope that something can be done to to save a very important part of educational history. I would devote any part of myself to seeing CEDU survive. I would like to find a way to get this information out to all alumni and past staff. There is a large number of people who have been involved in this program over the years. Please pass my name onto anyone who could help to save the school.
Please feel free to list my email and my address so others can be in touch with me. I am far from finished on this manner. I look forward to hearing from anyone who might be willing to support my cause to save CEDU from corporate USA where it does not belong. I only hope that I am not too late. Please let me know if you here from anyone or if there is anyone you can think of.

"This is a relationship-based program, and they closed this like it was a factory," a counselor at one of the schools told the Spokesman-Review newspaper in Spokane, Wash.
