Summit Prep, a new charter school in my school district, has a policy that every student--not just those with learning disabilities--has an Individual Education Plan (IEP). Jeremey Hiebert has a post introducing the topic of Personalized Learning Environment. (PLE).
This post is to remind me to read and learn a bit more, then post more about it. The families I know with kids at Summit are very happy. (La Princessa de Todo did not apply there, because she did not want to go to a start-up school. Fair enough, she'd be in the pioneer class.)
