Update June 1 2008: Dore seems to be out of business, world-wide. See this summary post. My sympathies to those families who prepaid and have no economic recourse.
I doubt that the Dore treatment is a "cure" for dyslexia. Chris Tregenza of Myomancy thinks it has cured him of dyslexia, but he has reservations about Dore's marketing methods.

You have good reason to be suspicious. Mis-Management is a bigger problem than the marketing. That center I found out has gone through managers including marketing managers like water. The turnover there is high. Look at how many of DORE's own staff, technicians, sales people and even the TOP mananagement have gone through the program. NOT MANY! Investigate how many people have registered and COMPLETED the program. Very low! And the Center in COlorado trains the rest of the nation!
This is not to mention the rumors of racist and sexist comments from a female there.
My bet would be on other programs and NOT the turmoil at DORE.
