Sleeping on the floor is over-rated. There was a Starbuck's open at 4:30 am, and at least I am caffienated.
And it is not snowing in Salt Lake, so the odds of getting out are pretty good.
Update: I wish every hub airport had "capsule hotels". I'd've sprung. I almost kipped in "laptop lane" but it wasn't worth it--floor was just as hard as the free seats.
I have very fond memories of Pullman sleeping cars.
