Jumper Girl's been having a great show. Not so much the ribbons but the riding. Today she had two great rides, finishing about 12th to 15th in classes of 25+ -- out of the ribbons but still a good showing.
Every ride, she is improving her horse. This afternoon I looked at all the videos I have of her since we got this horse and the improvement in the horse and rider is plain to see.
Taking pleasure in your kid's increasing mastery is the name of the game for parents, if you ask me.
That's great! What happens when she goes to school? Will someone else ride the horse to keep him in shape? A friend of mine started riding when she went to college and did quite well in whatever the horse championships are that happen in June...Go JG!!!!

Choosing Happiness
“http://www.ilchilee.com> Ilchi Lee that any people feel that they can only be happy and peaceful when they are given the right circumstances and conditions. However, we can be at peace and be content in this moment now, at this place now. This is our choice. There is nothing that is blocking this choice. Only our thoughts are obscuring this choice. Why can’t we be content and happy without conditions? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Enlightenment> Enlightenment is a choice that continues from instant to instant, from moment to moment.” - SRV
