This work shop will discuss based on current research why boys are seven times more likely to have language and reading delays; why boys are four times more likely to be in special education; and why boys seem to only listen to what they want to During this workshop we will practice storytelling techniques writing methods listening activities and share many book choices that are appropriate for boys Participants will learn information that they can take back and apply immediately in their classrooms
