Oh Noes! More Anti-Vaccination, Autism Woo Ranting on Larry King!

Yesterday the Age of Autism blog announced that Jenny McCarthy and friends were going to appear on Larry King Live tonight, December 20, 2008:

Jenny McCarthy, JB Handley and Stan Kurtz will appear on Larry King Live Saturday at 9pm eastern, 6pm pacific. The show is focused on autism with very direct discussions about vaccines, how to lower your risks of having a child with autism and how to effectively treat children with autism for their medical issues.

Who are these people?  They are all from Generation Rescue (GR).  Jenny McCarthy has a high-school diploma and is GR's spokesperson.  Stan Kurtz is the president of GR and has  a teaching credential in the state of California.  JB Handley, who co-founded GR, has a dual BA in BA in economics and East Asian studies from a reputable university. Note that none of the guests have any medical or public health  training, and therefore are in no position to comment vaccine safety and efficacy, or on "how to effectively treat children with autism for their medical issues."
